Rose Geranium Bath Soak Blend

Rose Geranium (pelargonium graveolens) is considered an herb that when distilled becomes a high-intensity aromatic essential oil.

Warm baths and soothing foot soaks during winter months can effectively lengthen short days and enhance one's commitment to self-care practices.

A blend designed for relaxation can be easily created using rose geranium, lavender, and mandarin essential oils and then added to a mixture of Himalayan Pink Salt and Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate).

40 drops of rose geranium - anxiety

20 drops of lavender flower - stress

20 drops of mandarin orange - insomnia

1 cup fine Himalayan salt

1 cup of baking soda

Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl first, ensuring they are well-mixed. Next, add the essential oils and stir thoroughly to distribute the scents evenly throughout the mixture.

When ready to indulge, add 1/2 cup to warm bath water or use 1/4 in a basin for a foot soak. Allow the comforting aromas to envelop you as you take a moment for yourself this winter.

Do not take a bath soak if pregnant or breastfeeding, have high blood pressure, or diabetes, are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or have open wounds or serious infections. Always do a skin patch test before using the baking soda blend of salt and essential oils in a bath. Pay attention to your body and note how your symptoms react to the baths. Discontinue use if you have any adverse reactions.
